Shri
Prahlad Rai, General Secretary, AIBSNLEA CHQ visited Ahmedabad to attend the
Joint Forum of BSNL Unions and Associations on 19th March, 2015.
During his brief visit he also spared time to meet delegates of Engineering and
Accounts & Finance wings and gave a patient hearing to their genuine
issues. GS briefed about the present status of Departmental JAOs option cases
as well as seniority and he assured them to get the issue resolved at the
earliest. GS also explained the present
status relating to 1st Time
Bound promotion of JTOs recruited in the year 1993 and assured to take-up the
issue at appropriate level.
Shri
Prahald Rai along with Circle office bearers met CGMT and discussed various
Developmental as well as HR issues. GS conveyed the concern of CMD on negative
growth of Gujarat Circle and had detailed discussion with CGMT on this issue.
CGMT pointed out the reasons for negative growth in CM revenue. GS assured full
support of AIBSNLEA for any positive action in the growth of BSNL.
Shri
Prahlad Rai, GS also met Shri O.P. Gupta, Sr.GM (CM-Mktg) and discussed on the
negative CM revenue growth in Gujarat Circle
and assured AIBSNLEA’s full support in achieving target.
GS
addressed the Forum of all Unions and Associations and explained in details the
reasons for going on strike on 21st & 22nd April,
2015. He emphasized on the need of unity among the employees of the BSNL in the
larger interest of BSNL. He also emphasized the need to work hard to turn
around the company. He also requested all the officers and staff to mobilize and
join the agitation program to be held on 21st and 22nd
April, 2015 and make it a grand success.
